The CD4511 is a BCD-to-7-segment latch/decoder/driver designed to interface between a 4-bit BCD input and a 7-segment LED display. It includes a storage latch, decoder logic, and output drivers for common-cathode displays.
When LE is high, the outputs follow the BCD inputs. When LE is low, the last BCD value is latched and displayed. The lamp test input can be used to test all segments. Blanking input turns off all segments.
